Connecticut-based medical liability mutual insurer CMIC has launched a new professional liability policy for Ambulatory Surgery Centers based in Massachusetts.
The policy is modeled after the company’s Connecticut plan, which was introduced last year.
The professional liability policy includes a consent-to-settle clause, claims defense using Massachusetts’ best malpractice defense attorneys, comprehensive loss prevention services and premium payment options with no finance charge. It also includes 30-day coverage for mergers, acquisitions and newly created entities.
