Art insurance industry professional and director of business development at AXA Art Insurance, Jill Arnold, has been named president of the New York City Chapter of The National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW-NYC). Arnold will serve for a one-year term.
The 13,000-member trade association is dedicated to the development of leaders in insurance. It offers educational training for professional industry designations, fosters an environment in which to build business alliances and networking opportunities with people of differing career paths and levels of experience.
In addition, NAIW-NYC is focused on supporting local charities, which include Dress for Success, CancerCare and Sanctuary for Families.
Arnold joined AXA Art Insurance in 2008. As director of business development, she leads a team of underwriters and art experts to reinforce the company’s existing relationships with brokers and other third party intermediaries and to increase new distribution channels nationally.
She currently manages AXA Art’s relationship with the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) and the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD).
A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, Arnold previously held positions at Willis of New York, DeWitt Stern Group and Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.
Arnold serves on the advisory board of the Appraisers Association of America.
