Commercial property insurer Ironshore Inc. announced that Anthony Mammolite, currently executive vice president of its U.S. Property unit, has been named to the additional post of regional executive for the entire New York region.
In this expanded role, Mammolite will further develop Ironshore’s retail distribution network within the New York region. He will continue to serve in his current position in leading Ironshore’s U.S. Property division, the role he assumed upon joining the company in April 2009.
Mammolite brings 35 years of experience in underwriting and field operations, including more than 20 years in property lines. Since joining Ironshore, his focus has been on building the U.S. Property platform in the major metropolitan hubs, as well as working on strategic initiatives for the U.S. Property division. Previously, he served as senior vice president of Property for Lexington Insurance Co., a unit of American International Group (AIG), and held various senior level management positions for AIG in the greater New York area.
