Pennsylvania-based GUARD Insurance Group has promoted two execs to oversee key product lines for the company.
Tom Denis has been named vice president of property and casualty. In this new position, he will ensure the systems, coverages, pricing and distribution are in place to support GUARD’s plans while identifying ways to improve and enhance GUARD’s P/C offerings. Denis joined GUARD in 2000 and has served in a variety of marketing and underwriting supervisory roles.
Dave Simmons has been appointed vice president of regional sales. He will oversee sales and marketing activities related to GUARD’s workers’ compensation product and will be responsible for GUARD’s field operations and home office sales as well as loss control. Simmons joined GUARD in 2009 and has 25 years of insuance industry experience.
