Deana Lykins has been named president of the Insurance Council of New Jersey (ICNJ), the a trade association for the state’s property/casualty insurance industry.
As president, Lykins will oversee the operations of the organization and serve as primary spokesperson for New Jersey’s property/casualty insurance industry.
Previously, Lykins was a principal in a Trenton lobbying firm, where she developed and managed legislative strategy, educated policymakers on client issues and maintained relationships within the legislative and executive branches of New Jersey government.
She has also served as national state government policy manager to a major pharmaceutical company and as deputy counsel and Senate Commerce Committee aide to the New Jersey Senate Majority.
