McGrath Insurance Group of Sturbridge, Massachusetts has acquired the Prouty Agency, also of Sturbridge, for an undisclosed sum.
“Prouty Insurance has a strong tradition of providing close, personal customer service,” said McGrath President and CEO Richard McGrath. “For an independent insurance agency, that means being able to offer customers insurance from some of the country’s leading carriers. Through its affiliation with McGrath Insurance, Prouty Insurance will be better able to accomplish that goal.”
Prouty Insurance, one of the oldest agencies in southern Worcester County. McGrath Insurance Group has served businesses and consumers in southern Worcester County for more than 75 years.
