Massachusetts-based insurer The Hanover has named Gerald T. Merritt as president of its professional liability business.
In this new role, Merritt will work closely with the professional liability team to expand the capabilities of the business unit to create greater opportunities for the company’s agents to grow their respective businesses, the company said.
