Two Virginia Tech professors have been awarded an $825,000 federal research grant aimed at reducing falls on residential construction sites.
The grant from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will focus on adapting industry safety equipment for use in second-story work.
The four-year project will be based out of Virginia Tech’s Occupational Safety and Health Research Center.
