Kevin O’Brien has been named president and chief executive officer of the Inland Marine Underwriters Association (IMUA).
O’Brien joins the IMUA from Maran Corporate Risk Associates Inc., of Southampton, N.Y., where he served as sales manager. He has also held positions with Allstate, The Signature Group and Independent Insurance Agents of America, Inc. in New York.
He succeeds the retiring Ron Thornton who announced his retirement last year.
