KPMG named Laura Hay national sector leader for the firm’s insurance practice.
In her new role, she will be oversee the strategic direction and growth of the insurance practice, which serves companies in the property and casualty, as well as life and health and reinsurance segments. Hay will be based out of New York and succeeds Scott Marcello, who has been appointed to lead KPMG’s overall financial services line of business, which includes the firm’s banking and finance, insurance, real estate and construction, and investment management practices.
Hay brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry with particular focus on actuarial, audit and advisory services. Before joining KPMG, she spent eight years at a large mutual life insurance company.
