Julio C. Shaik, CFA, recently joined IWIF Workers’ Compensation Insurance as assistant vice president of investments and CIO. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Shaik manages IWIF’s investment portfolio and advises the company’s board of directors on investment strategies to improve portfolio return.
Prior to joining IWIF, Shaik was founding member and managing director of Black Knight Asset Management, a fixed income investment firm in Washington, D.C.
Shaik is a CFA charterholder, as well as a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Washington.
Established in 1914, IWIF is the leading writer of workers’ compensation insurance in Maryland.
