Atlanta-headquartered wholesale intermediary Swett & Crawford hired Chris Hendrix as a new casualty broker at its Philadelphia-North office.
Hendrix comes to Swett from Southern Cross Underwriters (CRC) where he spent four years supporting 750 retail insurance agencies as a commercial P/C underwriter covering Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Washington, D.C.
Earlier in his career he was a P/C underwriter for Penn America Group. He is a graduate of The National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO) Excess & Surplus Lines School and is currently working toward his CIC designation.
Swett & Crawford serves independent agents and brokers through specialized property, casualty, oil & gas/energy, professional services, transportation, reinsurance and underwriting practice groups.
