KMRD Partners, a Warrington, Penn.-based risk management consulting firm and property/casualty insurance broker, has acquired assets of General InsurCorp.
Based in West Chester, Penn., General InsurCorp has been operating as an independent agency, supplying both personal and business lines of insurance. Owner Jeff Brown, who founded the firm in 1982, and his son, Mike Brown, will remain active in the day-to-day management of the business. The business will operate under the KMRD Partners name.
General InsurCorp’s client team will remain in the West Chester office, where they will service current clients and seek to form new client relationships. KMRD Partners managing partner and co-founder Bob Dietzel said the deal allows his company to work together with long time colleagues.
