Risk Strategies Company, a brokerage and risk management firm headquartered in Boston, acquired Global Insurance Network, an independent insurance agency in Needham, Mass.
As part of the transaction, Global Insurance Network’s co-founder and president Bernard Gitlin will join Risk Strategies Company as executive vice president.
Risk Strategies Company is a brokerage firm distributing property and liability insurance and employee benefits insurance products to commercial clients. It also offers risk management services to middle market and upper middle market clients. The firm is headquartered in Boston, with additional offices in Providence, New York City, Metro New York, Chicago, Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Francisco.
Risk Strategies’ business practices include commercial accounts, private equity, workers comp for temporary staffing companies, institutions of higher education, social service organizations, renewable energy, alternative risk programs, construction wrap ups, healthcare, and employee benefits.
