Exceptional Risk Advisors, a Lloyds’ of London managing general underwriter in Mahwah, N.J., appointed Chris Lack to head up its sports and entertainment division.

Lack will lead Exceptional Risk Advisors’ sports insurance division and assist the executive team in guiding the company and developing business for all product lines. His expertise revolves around designing services and coverage for high-profile sports and entertainment risks that traditional life and disability carriers are unable to deliver.
He previously served as assistant vice president of sports and business development for William J. Sutton in Toronto, Canada. He was also a consultant for Hanleigh, a Crump Company, in Woodcliff Lake, N.J., with a focus on delivering insurance services from Lloyd’s of London to their entertainment, athlete and executive clientele.
As a managing general underwriter for Lloyd’s of London, Exceptional Risk Advisor has expertise in insuring complex human capital risks for successful individuals and corporations, with the ability to write in excess of $100 million of disability protection per insured.
