ACE Westchester, the U.S.-based wholesale-focused insurance division of the ACE Group, appointed Richard Luca as vice president of management liability for its professional risk division. He is based in the greater New York City area.
Luca will have national responsibility for the division’s public company directors-and-officers lines and will also be responsible for all management liability lines in the Northeast region, including private company, public company, not-for-profit and financial institutions coverages. He will report to Joseph Casey, division president of professional risk at ACE Westchester.
With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Luca joined ACE in 2004, and most recently served as vice president of management liability in the New York region for ACE USA, the retail-focused division of the ACE Group. Prior to joining ACE, Luca spent four years heading the non-standard directors-and-officers group of Gulf Insurance.
