CMIC, a Glastonbury, Conn.-based carrier offering medical professional liability insurance in New England, has appointed Edward Carroll as director of underwriting.
Carroll brings 18 years of experience to his role, most recently as a senior underwriting officer at Chubb Specialty Insurance, a provider of specialty insurance products for companies, associations and their directors, officers and employees.
Prior to joining Chubb Specialty Insurance Company, Carroll served as associate attorney at Robinson, Donovan, Madden & Barry, P.C., where he was responsible for the firm’s business, commercial and insurance litigation.
Established as a mutual company in 1984, CMIC is a doctor-owned provider of professional liability insurance and services to doctors, hospitals and healthcare professionals in New England.
