To whom this may concern, I am a 66 year old widow. My husband died from cancer after working as a pipe fitter welder for over 40 years. I have had a case pending for almost 8 years. My lawyer tells me that the Commissioner keeps taking other cases before his and it has been almost 8 years. I am in such dire need of a settlement because I am about to loose everything because I am recooperating myself from uterine cancer plus many other healthy issues. Please advise me as how I can get the Commissioner to hear my husband’s case. He worked so long and hard as well I did and he was a good man. He died at 62 in 2005 and since then my whole world has fallen apart. I really need some assistance and pray that someone will advise me. My lawyer keeps telling me that it is up to the Commisioner .
