Itasca, Ill.-headquartered global insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Park Row Associates Inc. in Providence, R.I., from its parent company, Delta Dental of Rhode Island. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1994, Park Row Associates is an employee benefits insurance broker that offers a wide range of group employee benefits products and consulting services to their clients, located primarily in the Northeastern states.
Park Row Associates specialize in providing group medical, disability, dental and vision, group life/disability and voluntary products to their higher education, health care, municipality and social service clients. The Park Row staff will continue to operate in Providence, under the direction of David Ziegler, Eastern regional executive vice president of Gallagher’s employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations. Park Row represents Arthur J. Gallagher’s first Rhode Island benefit operation.
