XL Group’s Marine Unit Boosts Underwriting and Claims Staff in N.Y.

XL Group plc’s North American marine business is expanding its blue water hull risk management capabilities in New York with the addition of Siobhan Coen and Jeff Loechner as senior underwriters and Eileen Fellin as a senior claims consultant.

Coen brings 20 years underwriting experience with her from the American Hull Insurance Syndicate. Coen is a member of the American Marine Insurance Forum and Average Adjusters Association.

Loechner brings more than 10 years underwriting experience with him from the American Hull Insurance Syndicate. Loechner is a member of American Marine Insurance Forum, Association of Average Adjusters, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Association. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard Third Mate License.

Fellin brings more than 30 years marine claims experience. Most recently Eileen was claims manager at the American Hull Insurance Syndicate where she spent the last fourteen years. Prior to that she held claims consultant and claims management positions with national brokers. Fellin is a member and current Secretary of the Association of Average Adjusters in the U.S. She is also a member of the Maritime Law Association, Association of Average Adjusters in the U.K., and corresponding member of the International Association of Average Adjusters.
