Aon Global Risk Consulting Appoints Director in Maryland Office

Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon plc, recently announced the addition of Evangelos Sekeris as director of operational risk consulting in the Columbia, Md. office.

In his new role, Sekeris will be leading Aon’s operational risk consulting business in North America for financial institutions. He will serve as a liaison for regulators on the changes in the regulatory environment and work with clients on optimizing operational risk models and frameworks.

Prior to joining Aon, Sekeris was assistant vice president of the policy analysis unit in the supervision and regulation department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. In this role, he conducted policy analysis, provided quantitative support for bank examinations and developed the regulatory stress test model for operational risk.
