York Risk Services Group (York), a national provider of claims-management, specialized loss adjusting, alternative risk programs, pool administration and other insurance services, announced that Jim Ossner has joined the company as vice president of sales for York Alternative Risk Solutions (York ARS).
Ossner’s responsibilities will include new business development associated with York’s alternative risk programs.
Prior to joining York ARS, Ossner was assistant vice president, strategic alliance business development, at Chubb Specialty Insurance and was responsible for new business development for captive programs at Hartford Insurance Group. He has also managed program underwriting for several major carriers.
York ARS services include captive management, program administration for captive programs and self-insured groups, as well as claims administration, managed care, loss control and premium audit services that are available on a bundled and unbundled basis.
Based in Parsippany, N.J., York currently provides services to over 100 alternative risk programs with a broad range of risk financing structures such as self-insured groups, group captives, agency captives and risk retention groups. It has more than 2,400 employees nationwide.
Additionally, York currently manages over 48 segregated cell captives through its Bermuda-based reinsurance facility, Atlantic Gateway International (SAC) Ltd. York ARS also has a unique risk sharing arrangement through this reinsurance facility and assumes risk with their clients.
