Hispanic market-focused insurance agency network Confie Seguros announced the acquisition of CW Baker Insurance Agency and Lewiston Insurance Agency, two providers of standard and preferred personal insurance located in upstate New York near Niagara Falls.
Confie Seguros said these latest acquisitions are part of the firm’s strategy to build out its geographic footprint throughout New York State. CW Baker and Lewiston specialize in the delivery of personal and commercial insurance products for small to medium size businesses.
CW Baker Insurance Agency in Lockport, N.Y., was founded in 1928 and is an independently owned agency providing personal and commercial lines insurance. Lewiston Insurance Agency in Lewiston, N.Y., is an independent agency specializing in property/casualty insurance for personal and business accounts, including municipalities. Confie Seguros CEO Joe Waked said the staffs of both agencies will remain in place.
Established in 2008, Confie Seguros is a Calif.-based national insurance distribution company primarily focused on the insurance needs of Hispanic consumers. It currently has annual revenue of over $200 million with more than 300 retail locations. It is a portfolio company of ABRY Partners.
