Hiscox, the international specialist insurer, today announced that Angela Adams has been appointed as vice president, general liability underwriting leader, for Hiscox USA based out of the company’s New York office.
Adams joins Hiscox USA’s growing business after previous senior level roles with Torus, HSBC and AIG.
Hiscox USA said Adams will take a lead role in working with partner brokers to cross-sell casualty products to existing customers and to expand the reach of Hiscox USA’s underwriting and claims services into new areas.
In the U.S., Hiscox offers general liability coverage alongside a diverse portfolio of professional liability and other specialty insurance products, and has offices in New York City; White Plains, N.Y.; Atlanta; Chicago; Los Angeles; and San Francisco.
