USI Insurance Services announced that Rick Renna has joined the brokerage as vice president in the New York metropolitan office.
Renna formerly served as sales executive at MagnaCare and vice president/financial services at Connelly Campion Wright (CCW). He brings 20 years of experience in sales, with 10 years in insurance brokerage, previously serving as a senior sales engineer at Intel.
In his role at USI as vice president of employee benefits, he will be providing consultation to drive new business opportunities in the mid-market sector.
Renna spent last three years as a sales executive in MagnaCare’s tri-state region, focusing on self-insured, large-group health plans in the middle market. Prior to that he spent seven years at CCW Insurance, specializing in property/casualty, life and health, and 401k.
Renna also served as a field representative for the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. For the first 10 years of his career, he served in sales roles in the technology, telecom and specialty chemical industries. He holds producer licenses in both life and health, and property/casualty insurance.

USI is headquartered in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., and operates out of approximately 100 offices across the United States. USI is substantially owned by investment funds affiliated with Onex Corporation and certain key employees of USI.
