Medford, N.J.-based Risk Partners Inc. appointed industry veteran David Bierschied in New York State as regional business development manager.
Bierschied will establish Risk Partners’ first New York State office in Syracuse. He will focus on production underwriting opportunities throughout New York and New England.
Bierschied brings 45 years of commercial insurance industry experience, including 18 years at CNA, where his production and underwriting responsibilities progressed from branch management to executive roles throughout Florida, Boston and New York.
His background also includes senior vice president and general manager positions with regional mutual insurance companies, as well as 22 years of senior sales management responsibilities with general agency, brokerage and underwriting operations.
Founded in 2004, Risk Partners is a specialty workers’ compensation and commercial auto managing underwriter and alternative risk provider, serving independent agents and brokers throughout the country.
