Fireman’s Fund Names Senior Product Director for Healthcare Practice in N.Y.

Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company has appointed Mike Midgley to senior product director for healthcare professional liability. He is located in Fireman’s Fund’s New York office.

Midgley most recently worked in compliance, product development and risk management for 10 years at American International Group Inc. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at CNA HealthPro, Elmhurst Hospital Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

With over 20 years of health care and risk management experience, Midgley will be responsible for overseeing the company’s professional liability and related insurance products for healthcare accounts, including allied professionals, medical facilities and senior living facilities.

As a lawyer, professional risk manager, and nurse, Midgley has significant insurance and healthcare industry experience, including underwriting, compliance, product management, risk management and nursing roles.

Founded in 1863, Fireman’s Fund is based in Novato, Calif., and is a member of the Allianz Group.
