Conner Strong & Buckelew, an insurance, risk management and employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm, recently hired Bill Motherway as president of the firm’s New York operations.
A 30-year veteran of the New York insurance industry, Motherway will be responsible for the management of Conner Strong & Buckelew’s commercial property/casualty operations including business development with a focus on the construction and real estate development sectors.
Motherway previously served as executive vice president for Tishman Construction Corp., where he oversaw the corporate-wide enterprise risk management program.
Prior to Tishman, Motherway served as risk manager for the City of New York where he led a number of signature projects involving alternative risk solutions and wrap-up insurance programs.
Motherway will operate out of Conner Strong & Buckelew’s new Manhattan, New York office. Founded in 1959, Conner Strong & Buckelew has offices in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Florida.
