Elias B. Cohen & Associates, a Roseland, N.J.-based insurance agency, has appointed Jonathan Kaplan as vice president in the commercial lines department.
Kaplan most recently served as account executive for Geisenheimer Insurance Agency. He has over 28 years’ experience in the insurance field and specializes in real estate, manufacturing, importers/exporters, executive risk, environmental risk, construction, transportation and professional entities.
His activities have included analyzing risk exposures, designing cost effective insurance programs, and comprehensive coverage design. His designations include Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
