The Associated Industries of Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Companies (A.I.M. Mutual), a workers’ compensation insurer based in Burlington, Mass., announced two promotions.
Cheryl A. Began was elected corporate secretary and Glenn S. MacDonald was promoted to director of finance. Both positions report to A.I.M. Mutual’s Controller Paul Kehoe.
In addition to serving as corporate secretary, Began will also continue in her role as statutory accounting manager. She joined A.I.M. Mutual in 2000 and worked in several accounting capacities, including supervisor, before being named statutory accounting manager in 2011.
Prior to being named director of finance, MacDonald was a financial analyst for A.I.M. Mutual; he joined A.I.M. Mutual in 2012. Previously, he was with the Hartford Financial Services Group for 25 years and had been director of financial planning, analysis and reporting. He holds a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
