Employers Holdings Inc. in Reno, Nevada, has hired Martha Collins as vice president, regional sales for the eastern region that includes 16 states. Collins will be based in Baltimore, Maryland.
Collins brings to Employers Holdings more than 19 years of experience in the insurance industry and experience in sales and business development. Collins will work under the direction of the senior vice president and chief sales officer.
Employers Holdings’ eastern sales region includes Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Collins joins Employers Holdings from Hanover Insurance Co., where she served as a sales manager. Prior to that, she was with CNA as assistant vice president of business development for nine years.
Employers Holdings Inc. is a holding company with subsidiaries that are specialty providers of workers’ compensation insurance and services focused on select small businesses engaged in low-to-medium hazard industries. Insurance is offered by Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, Employers Compensation Insurance Co., Employers Preferred Insurance Co. and Employers Assurance Co.
