
Insurance brokerage and risk management firm Integro hired Robert Stearns as a principal for the firm’s Global Marine practice in New York. He is responsible for the design, structure, placement and servicing of marine liability and marine hull insurance programs.
Stearns, a marine liability and brown water hull risks specialist, brings more than 25 years of experience in marine and energy insurance, including many years as a broker at Marsh, where he rose to managing director. Most recently he worked on the insurance carrier side, as a vice president, managing the marine liability and hull product line at Starr Companies.
Stearns’ experience also includes two years working for a Lloyd’s broker with responsibility for negotiating and placing risks directly into Lloyd’s of London and the London Company insurance market.
