Lawley Insurance, an independent insurance agency headquartered in Buffalo, New York, will expand into Connecticut through a merger with DFM Insurance Inc. based in Darien, Connecticut. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
DFM Insurance will formally be known as Lawley DFM and become Lawley’s first branch office located in Connecticut. Founded in 1986, DFM Insurance provides commercial and personal lines insurance.
Lawley is a privately-owned independent agency providing property/casualty insurance, employee benefits and risk management consulting services. Headquartered in Buffalo, New York, Lawley has branch offices across New York state in Amherst, Batavia, Elmsford, Fredonia, Melville and Rochester, an office in Florham Park, New Jersey, and now a new location in Darien, Connecticut. Lawley has a team of over 350 associates.
