CBIZ Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio, announced that it has acquired Model Consulting Inc. in Trevose, Pennsylvania. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1990, Model Consulting provides employee benefit consulting services to mid-sized companies in the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey markets. Model, which will be integrated in to CBIZ’s Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, office, has 13 employees and is expected to add approximately $4.2 million to annualized revenue.
CBIZ said the acquisition would enhance CBIZ’s employee benefit services and complement the company’s current financial services, property/casualty, and retirement service offerings in the Mid-Atlantic.
CBIZ provides professional business services including accounting, tax, financial advisory, government health care consulting, risk advisory, real estate consulting, and valuation services. CBIZ’s employee services include employee benefits consulting, property/casualty insurance, retirement plan consulting, payroll, life insurance, HR consulting, and executive recruitment. CBIZ’s services are provided through more than 100 offices in 34 states.
