The MEMIC Group, a workers’ compensation insurer based in Portland, Maine, promoted Stacey Foote to director of claims, MEMIC Indemnity Company, where she will oversee claim operations in the company’s territories stretching from New Hampshire to Florida. Foote will report to Matthew Harmon, senior vice president of claims, The MEMIC Group.
Foote earned professional designations as a Workers’ Compensation Claims Law Associate (WCLA), Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA) and certified Workers’ Compensation Professional (WCP).
The MEMIC Group holds licenses to write workers’ compensation in 46 states plus the District of Columbia. The group insures more than 20,000 employers and their estimated 300,000 employees, and holds more than $1 billion in assets.
