ANE (Agency Network Exchange LLC), a network of independently owned and operated insurance agencies, announced that Liberty Insurance Associates Inc., an independent agency based in Millstone Township, New Jersey, has become an equity partner and a part owner of ANE.
ANE CEO John K. Tiene said Liberty Insurance Associates brings knowledge and contacts to the ANE organization, and enhances ANE’s ties with a number of key insurance companies.
ANE also announced Liberty Insurance President and CEO Andrew C. Harris has been appointed to the ANE Board of Directors. Harris has 40 years of experience in insurance sales and agency management, including more than 32 years as the president and CEO of Liberty Insurance Associates, a multi-lines agency with over 40 employees.
Harris is active in the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) at both the national and state level (PIA-NJ). He was president of the National PIA from 2012-2013. He served as president of PIA-NJ from 1998-1999.
Founded in 2009, the Monmouth Junction, New Jersey-based ANE includes more than 40 agencies in New Jersey and has recently expanded its network into the mid-Atlantic region. The group pools premium to increase contingent revenue, provides direct access to market, and provides support for agents.
