Stahlka Agency Inc., an independent insurance agency with offices in Williamsville and Orchard Park, New York, today announced its acquisition of the Prahovic Agency in Lake View, New York. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Prahovic Agency has been providing small-business and personal insurance services to the Southtowns region, an area of towns south of Buffalo, New York.
As part of the transaction, Stephen Prahovic, former principal of the Prahovic Agency, has joined Stahlka Agency at Stahlka’s Orchard Park office in the Southtowns region.
“The acquisition of the Prahovic Agency in Lake View continues our strategy to aggressively seek out growth opportunities and expand our presence in the Southtowns,” said Mark Stahlka, president of Stahlka Agency.
North Bridge Advisors, a consultancy in Concord, Massachusetts, advised Stahlka Agency in the transaction.
Stahlka Agency has been providing a wide range of commercial and personal insurance and financial products since 1957. Stahlka Agency is a member of the EMS Group, a group of affiliated agencies or a cluster based in Williamsville.
