Vanner Insurance Agency, an independent agency based in Amherst, New York, announced that it recently boosted its marine insurance business by acquiring Buffalo, New York-based agency Edmund D. Stevens Inc. and its marine division, Stevens Marine Insurance Agency. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Under the deal, Edmund D. Stevens Inc. and Stevens Marine Insurance Agency will become a division of Vanner Insurance Agency.
Founded in 1967, Vanner Insurance Agency is an independent, privately owned agency offering commercial insurance, personal insurance and risk management services. Vanner has approximately 50 staff employees.
