
New Day Underwriting Managers LLC, a Hamilton, New Jersey-based specialty intermediary for environmental and construction-related professional liability insurance, has promoted Jeff Slivka to president, while Jefferey S. Lejfer will continue as the company’s chief executive officer.
In 2005, Slivka helped launch New Day Underwriting Managers. Since then, he has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer supervising New Day Underwriting Managers’ day-to-day operations and business development efforts. As president, Slivka will retain these responsibilities while also concentrating on the development and growth of New Day’s national carrier network, marketing and producer training programs.
Lejfer, who is also one of the company’s founding members, will continue as CEO. He will manage New Day’s financial, accounting, marketing and technology practices and work with Slivka to continually define the company’s strategic direction and accommodate market and client requirements.
