
Business Risk Partners (BRP), a specialty underwriter and program administrator based in Windsor, Connecticut, has added two new underwriters to its professional liability team: Maggie Mae Kores as senior underwriter for miscellaneous professional liability (MPL) and Michael DiClemente as underwriter for insurance agents.
Kores brings more than a decade of experience to BRP’s MPL program, which serves more than 150 classes of professional services.
Most recently, Kores was program manager at Target Insurance Services, a division of CRC Insurance Services, where she managed books of business nationwide for a wide cross section of professions and industries. Kores is a licensed property/casualty agent and surplus lines broker.
DiClemente brings several years of underwriting experience to BRP’s insurance agents program, which serves wholesale, retail, life and property/casualty agents, managing general agents and program administrators. Most recently he served as an underwriter for three years with Beazley Group in cyber privacy and security. DiClemente began his career with Ascot Underwriting in reinsurance.
Founded in 2000, BRP offers professional liability, management liability, data breach/privacy and hybridized specialty services to agents and brokers serving middle market customers nationwide.
