New York-based international broker and risk management firm Integro Insurance Brokers announced the hiring of Andrew Behrends as chief financial officer.
Behrends brings 20 years of financial management experience to Integro. Most recently he had been interim CFO of One Call Care Management, an ancillary services provider in workers’ compensation, where he was responsible for the private-equity sponsored firm’s finance, accounting, treasury, forecasting and planning, financial systems and lender communications.
Earlier, Behrends served as senior vice president, finance and corporate controller of PSS World Medical Inc., responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of the $2 billion publicly traded healthcare distribution company, and was integral in the 2013 sale of the company to McKesson Corp.
He began his career in the audit practice of Ernst & Young LLP, and has since held finance and accounting leadership positions in both public and private companies.
