Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a diner and a pharmacy in Milton, Dela.
Milton police said officers responded to the fire after observing heavy smoke coming from the structure that contained the Milton Diner and the adjacent United Pharmacy. The Milton Fire Department said it took more than two hours to get the fire under control. Firefighters said both businesses are a total loss.
Both businesses were closed, and no injuries were reported. Investigators are not yet sure what caused the fire, but they said it started in the diner. Officials have not released the total amount of estimated damage.
