CNA has appointed John Kaas to senior vice president and Mid-Atlantic zone officer.
In this role, Kaas will be responsible for advancing the strategic direction of the territory, which includes CNA’s branches in Baltimore, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Richmond and Washington D.C. He will also directly manage CNA’s Philadelphia branch office located in Radnor, Penn. Kaas will report to Tim Szerlong, president of worldwide field operations.
Kaas joined CNA in 2011 and has previously served as the Florida branch vice president. The firm will begin a search to fill the Florida branch vice president role immediately, Szerlong said in a company press release.
“John will work closely with Rob Hubner, Southern zone officer, to ensure a smooth transition for the team and our Florida agents,” Szerlong said in the release.
