JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc. (JLT), a specialty-focused provider of insurance, reinsurance and employee benefits related advice, brokerage and services, has appointed three new team members who will be based in Latham, New York.
Their focus will include financial institutions, private equity, construction, technology, real estate and cyber. The appointments are part of JLT’s investment to build teams that provide clients with capability and expertise within their specialized areas.
Justin Riccio has been appointed as senior vice president, in which he will be responsible for assisting with the growth of the Upstate New York region through production and servicing staff. In his role, he will help to lead a regional initiative of organic growth, regional expansion and market relationships. Riccio most recently worked as the leader of Adirondack Trust Company Financial Services Inc.’s sales department, where he recruited and managed production staff and developed a niche production strategy.
Kevin Rucinski has also been appointed as vice president, in which he will oversee client servicing and commercial lines procedures. Rucinski previously held an account executive position with Adirondack Trust Financial Services Inc., where he was responsible for the management and servicing of a book of contractors, real estate and manufacturers. While there, he assisted in the implementation of agency wide commercial lines procedures.
Additionally, Matt Franzese was hired as a vice president, in which he will be responsible for working with local and regional businesses to put together risk management insurance programs. His focus is on manufacturing, technology and cyber related risks. Franzese began his career at Arthur J. Gallagher & Company, a global brokerage firm. While there, he was responsible for producing property and casualty accounts, with a specific focus on construction, real estate and manufacturing.
