Kaplansky Insurance, a Needham, Mass., based independent insurance agency, has acquired certain assets of R.P. Ahearn Insurance Agency, based in Framingham, Mass.
Since 1987, R.P. Ahearn Insurance has been dedicated to providing personal and commercial services to clients throughout the Metrowest region.
“This acquisition is an excellent opportunity to expand our reach, ensuring new opportunities and greater resources for our clients,” said Ely Kaplansky, President and CEO of Kaplansky Insurance. “Our commitment to our communities, clients and to our company partners will remain the foundation for all we do.”
This addition of R.P. Ahearn marks the 25th acquisition for Kaplansky.
“We are continuing our search for profitable, quality agencies who have a solid reputation both in terms of underwriting and quality of service,” according to Kaplansky.
Kaplansky Insurance operates 13 locations throughout Massachusetts. Founded in 1974, it provides a full range of personal and commercial insurance products.
