Vermont’s USA Risk Group Named Rasmussen VP of Business Development

USA Risk Group, a Barre, Vt.-headquartered independent captive management firm, has named Peter Rasmussen vice president of business development.

Rasmussen will be responsible for driving all sales activity, and in this role, he will work closely with the organization’s subject matter experts.

With 16 years of producing sales and management experience, Rasmussen has skills in providing product, service and sales training, cross-functional team building and leadership, customer-service and retention management as well as relationship development.

In particular, he has focused on sales leadership in the business-to-business space, from commercial property and casualty production to claims and risk management.

Prior to joining USA Risk Group, Rasmussen served for three-and-a-half years as assistant vice president of sales at Cunningham Lindsey, a global loss adjusting, claims management and risk solutions firm.

Previously, he spent seven years with Zurich North America and Arrowhead General Insurance Agency Inc., where his last role was sales manager.
