The PURE Group of Insurance Companies, which includes Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE), a White Plains, N.Y.-headquartered, policyholder-owned property and casualty insurer designed for high-net-worth individuals and families, has named Katherine Richardson chief human resources officer.
She joins the company’s executive committee and reports directly to President and CEO Ross Buchmueller. Richardson will be responsible for developing core people strategies to build upon PURE’s workplace culture.
Richardson, a 25-year insurance industry veteran, joins PURE from Allied World Assurance Company, where she served as senior vice president and global head of human resources. Before joining Allied World in 2009, she held several human resources roles at AIG in both its field operations and home office. She began her career in 1993 at Leader Insurance.
PURE provides customizable coverage for high-value homes, automobiles, jewelry, art, personal liability, watercraft, flood, fraud and cyber fraud to more than 75,000 high-net-worth families throughout the U.S.
