Alliant Adds Shaffer to Its Mid-Atlantic Team as Senior Vice President

Alliant has added John Shaffer III to its Mid-Atlantic team.

The Bethesda, Md.-based property and casualty specialist will serve as senior vice president, designing and delivering a range of insurance and risk management services to clients throughout the region as Alliant continues to expand its presence.

Prior to joining Alliant, Shaffer was vice president with a national commercial insurance and financial services company.

Headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., Alliant Insurance Services Inc. provides property and casualty, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, underwriting, surety and financial products and services to clients nationwide, including public entities, tribal nations, healthcare, energy and marine, law firms, real estate, construction, financial institutions, agriculture, aviation and environmental.
