Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Ill., has hired Mike Kambos as its area senior vice president for New York’s Management Liability Practice.
Kambos brings more than 30 years of experience to Gallagher, most recently working with Program Brokerage Corp. While there, he specialized in brokering directors and officers, errors and omissions, fiduciary liability, employment practices and cyber coverages for publicly traded and privately held companies in all industry sectors.
In his new role at Gallagher, Kambos will lead the growth for the New York Management Liability Practice, with a focus on Financial Institutions. He will work under the management of Jennifer Sharkey, area president and Northeast regional director of Gallagher’s Management Liability Practice.
Kambos started his career in 1985 on Wall Street at Neuberger & Berman, working in its Fixed Income Department. He brings experience working with and underwriting to investment advisors, mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital firms, family offices, banks, mortgage brokers and bankers, insurance companies, insurance agents and brokers, captive agents and security broker dealers.
