World Insurance Associates LLC (WIA) acquired American Insurance Marketing Corp. (AIMC) of Prince Frederick, Md., on September 1, 2019. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1976, AIMC provides quality protection for thousands of individuals, families, businesses and churches throughout the state of Maryland.
AIMC is WIA’s first location in Maryland, which will allow the company to expand its reach in the Maryland, D.C. and Virginia areas.
AIMC President and CEO Kerry Day, Vice President Rodney Day and their associates will continue to operate from their current location in Prince Frederick, Md.
Headquartered in Tinton Falls, N.J., WIA is a full-service insurance brokerage providing asset and lifestyle protection with risk management, insurance and benefit consulting services for individuals and businesses. Since its founding in 2012, WIA has completed 47 acquisitions and serves its customers from 31 offices in 10 states.
